About John Quaid

John has been making hurleys as a hobby for a number of years and has turned professional last year. Previously, John played hurling with Feohanagh/Castlemahon, Limerick U-21s and Intermediates. He also played with Western Gaels. John is involved in coaching and the running of his club. He can customise the hurley to suit the needs of the player while he also does hurley repairs. John is a brother of the late Tommy Quaid (RIP) and a cousin of ex Limerick goalkeeper, Joe, both of whom won All-stars.
