Our growing customer base on both national and international levels is testament to the quality of our hurleys. Torpey Hurleys have a passion to be the best. With 36 years playing the game of hurling and making his own hurleys during that time, John Torpey is well qualified in the craft of hurley making. Starting the company of Torpey Wood Products to make hurleys on a commercial basis in 1981 but also retaining the the traditional handcrafted hurley has been a huge success. This craft has been passed on to his sonSean who now has built up a network of customers from all over Ireland. Hurley making is not just a job for us it is a passion to be the best.
